If you stop and read the whole passage, Joshua 14:6-12, you can hear in your mind's ear the ringing voice of the warrior. This man of God who was faithful his whole life, and at 85 years old, as the old man of the congregation of Israel - he wanted the giants!
It was spiritual evil that led every person who has committed mass violence whether it was with a gun, or a pressure cooker filled with shrapnel, or a plane flying into a building. So what is our response in the face of evil?
